On the occasion of the bicentenary of Antonio Salieri's death, the opera, or rather the intermezzo, "La Partenza Inaspettata" (The Unexpected Departure), is being performed for the first time since 1779. The story centers on the unfolding of the love story between Isabella and Captain Armidoro, complete with twists and turns and helpers.
